Why this card matters

Alvarez's return to cardboard after seven years, by way of PFL's acquisition of Bellator — Panini's Contenders PFL, released 18 July 2025, is the first licensed product in the Bellator lineage ever to carry him, fifteen years after he first won that promotion's title. He is Season Ticket #71 in a 100-card base set, with a second appearance in the Crown Jewels insert at #17. The ticket-parallel ladder runs all the way to a Championship Ticket 1/1.
