Sets
Checklists with the context around them — what the set is, why it matters, how the parallels work.
PRIDE FC
Japanese PRIDE set released 2006-01-11 and widely called the first full MMA set. 142 base cards, and 583 counting every variation: Gold Foil Signature, Silver Foil Signature, Holographic and Promos. A figure of 140 also circulates in listings; the archive follows TCDB's 142.
Donruss Americana II
Pop-culture multi-subject Donruss release with no UFC or promotion licence. Its 30-card Ring Kings insert is the combat-sports run, coded RK- plus fighter initials and serial numbered to 500, with a Directors Cut parallel numbered to 100.
Topps UFC Round 2
Topps' second UFC release, out 30 September 2009, and the set that holds the Jon Jones rookie. 150 base cards plus three checklists, split between fighter portraits, bout cards and the people who work the cage. Base parallels are Gold (unnumbered), Silver /188, Bronze /88, Ruby /8 and Diamond 1/1. Autograph content runs on FA- codes (around 40 signers, roughly 1:8 packs) plus an 18-card TUF Season 9 Autographs subset.
Topps UFC Round 1
The first dedicated Topps UFC set, released February 2009. The common set runs to 102 cards: fighters at 1-90, referees, announcers and octagon girls at 91-99, and three checklist cards. That is NSLists' count; TCDB's checklist for the same product stops at 100, and the lower figure turns up widely in listings — the archive carries 102. Base parallels are Gold, Silver /288, a retail Black /888 and a Red 1/1. Frequently and wrongly credited with the Jon Jones rookie.
Upper Deck Prominent Cuts
Upper Deck multi-sport and entertainment release with no fight-promotion licence; shipped 17 March 2010 despite its 2009 brand year. Its MMA content sits in two autograph subsets: Cage Fighter Signatures and the 15-card Cage Fighter Signature Renditions, which use artist renderings instead of photographs and carry Premium parallels numbered to 50 and 100 on seven of the fifteen.
Topps UFC Round 2 Autographs
Autograph subset of Round 2 using FA- codes, with a Red Ink version. Given its own set record because the codes do not share the base numbering.
Topps UFC Round 1 Victorious Debuts
20-card insert honouring fighters who won their UFC debut, numbered VD1 to VD20; Gold parallels numbered /88. Own set slug because VD- numbering is separate from the Round 1 base checklist.
Topps UFC Main Event
Topps' third UFC product, released 24 February 2010, with a 150-card base set. Its base run includes a 'WEC Fighter' block — the first time WEC fighters appeared in a Topps UFC product, a year and a quarter before the WEC roster folded into the main Topps UFC base run in 2011 Title Shot. Urijah Faber is #144 in that block, and it is his first card of any kind. The product also carries Cage Relics (30 cards) and an autograph subset. Cardboard Connection's review of the product is dated 25 February 2010, and that article date is the source of the 25 February figure that circulates; the archive uses 24 February.
Topps UFC (Series 4)
Released Sept 24, 2010; Cardboard Connection calls it Series 4. 200-card base set with parallels Gold (unnumbered), Silver /188, Bronze /88, Ruby /8 and Diamond 1/1. The two catalogues name the /88 tier differently — Bronze in Cardboard Connection's list, Onyx in Topps' own checklist naming, which is the name this product's autograph and relic ladders use — so the archive records Onyx as the /88 tier and Silver as the /188 tier.
Leaf MMA
Unlicensed (no UFC or promotional marks); Leaf's rebranded Razor MMA release, out 22 September 2010 per Cardboard Connection. 100-card base set — Jon Jones is #8, Gina Carano #10 and Eddie Alvarez #88. The Champions autograph subset (CH- numbering) runs Red /100, Purple /25 and Gold 1/1.
Topps UFC Knockout
Released December 2010; Topps' first high-end UFC product with one autograph or memorabilia card per pack. 150-card base set under a serial-numbered parallel ladder of Gold /288, Silver /188, Green /88, Red /8 and an Octagon Mat 1/1. Gold copies on the open market are stamped x/288, so /288 is the figure the archive carries for that tier.
Topps UFC Autographs
Autograph subset of the 2010 Topps UFC flagship, printed on Jeff Allender's checklist as Fighters & Personalities Autographs and seeded roughly 1:8 packs; around 80 signers on FA- codes, with Onyx /88, Ruby /8 and Diamond 1/1 parallel versions. Own set slug because its numbering is separate from the base checklist, and because several FA- codes are reused from the 2009 Round 2 autograph subset.
Topps UFC Series 4 — Pride and Glory
Subset record. 15-card insert inside 2010 Topps UFC Series 4 (Round 4), numbered with a PG- prefix; Cro Cop is #PG-1. Own slug so PG-1 does not clash with base #1.
Finest UFC
100-card chromium Topps base set released 31 August 2011. Base parallels Refractor, X-Fractor /388, Gold Refractor /88, Octa-Fractor /8, Red Refractor 1/1 (per NSLists); Jones base #83. TCDB's card pages give a later 21 September 2011 date, which the archive does not follow.
2011 Topps UFC Moment of Truth
Released November 30, 2011. Cardboard Connection calls it the first UFC set to include Strikeforce fighters.
2011 Topps UFC Title Shot
150-card Topps UFC base set released 4 May 2011, the product that folded the WEC roster into the main Topps UFC base run after the merger. Cardboard Connection's product-level parallel list is Gold, Onyx /88, Red /8 and Diamond 1/1; the /88 tier appears as Onyx in Topps' own naming and as Black or Bronze in catalogue listings, and the /188 Silver tier quoted elsewhere is unconfirmed. Includes a 50-card Fight Mat Relics insert and a 35-contender Fighter Autograph Relics subset.
Topps UFC Moment of Truth Certified Signatures
Autograph subset of 2011 Topps UFC Moment of Truth.
Finest UFC Autographs
Autograph insert in Finest UFC; Gold, Octafractor and Red parallels catalogued without serials.
Topps UFC Knockout
High-end release, April 6, 2012; 100-card base set, Jones base #43. The archive records the Silver parallel at /188, following Cardboard Connection's checklist, which also lists Gold as numbered without giving a figure. SportsCardsPro reads the same ladder differently — Silver /125 with /188 on the Gold — and that disagreement is unresolved. Green /88, Red /8, Mat Stock 1/1 and Printing Plates 1/1 are not in dispute.

Red /8, Platinum 1/1 and Printing Plate 1/1 parallels sit above it.

Topps UFC Champions
200-card Topps UFC base set released 17 September 2014, with Conor McGregor at #32 in his first Topps base set. Cardboard Connection's set article is dated 13 October 2014 and that publication date circulates as a second release date; the archive follows the 17 September date TCDB states.

The archive concentrates on 2009–2016 Topps UFC — the era worst served online, and the one that matters most to collectors of early MMA.
