  • Rookie statusNot the archive's rookie card. Panini's 'ROOKIE CARD' shield is printed on the front and eBay's catalogue lists the card as '(RC)', but this is a print-to-order Instant card from Pereira's first UFC year rather than a rookie card from a regular release, and TCDB does not flag it RC. Under FightCardboard's Panini Instant rule the rookie pick is the earliest TCDB-flagged RC in a regular release — 2023 Panini Prizm UFC #111 (28 April 2023). This Instant is his first card of any kind and one of the two 'first card' candidates in his rookie dispute.

Why this card matters

Pereira's first trading card, a print-to-order Panini Instant card with a public print run of 616, made for his UFC 276 win on 2 July 2022. It is the 'first card' collectors point to in the rookie argument, and PSA 10 copies are sold as his '1st card'.
