Why this card matters
The card Panini printed to order for the night Gane beat Derrick Lewis at UFC 265 and took the interim heavyweight title. Instant cards are only sold for a short window after the event, so the run is whatever collectors ordered - the surviving population is small and the card almost never appears graded.

- Card #29 in the 2021 Panini Instant UFC sequence; #28 is the other Gane card from the same August 2021 window
- Sequence context: #27 Jose Aldo, #28 and #29 Gane, #30 Ricky Turcios - all UFC 265 / TUF finale week
- Sellers title it 'Becomes Interim Champion'
- Print run is stamped on Instant cards; no figure could be confirmed from a source here, so it is left null
| The Panini Instant cards are Gane's first cards because they are numbered in the twenties. | Instant numbering is sequential by event date within the year. #28 and #29 sit between Jose Aldo (#27) and the UFC 265 week cards, i.e. August 2021, four months after Prizm UFC #184. |

eBay sellers tag the Instant cards 'RC'. They are print-to-order commemoratives issued after his April 2021 Prizm base card, so they are not treated as rookies here.
