TCDB's listing for him starts in 2023, with RC flags on 2023 Panini Prizm UFC #8 (released 28 April 2023) and the 2023 Donruss/Optic Rated Rookies; Prizm #8 came first. Earlier, two eBay listings show a 2022 Panini Instant #146 from his UFC 282 debut (10 December 2022) with Panini's printed RC logo and '1 of 2468' on the back, but that card is not on TCDB's Instant checklist, so its identity rests on seller scans. FightCardboard's rule for Panini Instant cards: the working pick is the earliest TCDB-flagged RC in a regular release, and the Instant card is recorded as the other candidate.

His first rookie in a regular pack product and his first Prizm card (2023 Prizm UFC, released 28 April 2023). Sellers often list it as 'the' Rosas rookie.

The dispute

Sources disagree: Panini prints its RC logo on 2022 Panini Instant #146 (UFC 282), which came first, but the card is not on TCDB, and TCDB flags his 2023 cards instead (Prizm #8, Donruss Rated Rookie #206).

Commonly misidentified

Sellers often call 2023 Prizm #8 or Donruss #206 'the' Rosas rookie. Both are RC-designated but came after the Instant #146. The Instant card's '1 of 2468' is a print run, not a serial number. Some Amazon listings are titled 'Signed 2022 Panini Instant UFC 282 ... RC #2', which appears to be a different, event-specific Instant card and has not been checked.
