2011 Topps UFC Moment of Truth #129
Her first card of any kind, and a landmark for the whole women's/Strikeforce side of the hobby: Moment of Truth (released 30 November 2011) was the first UFC-licensed set Topps allowed Strikeforce fighters into, alongside Cris Cyborg, Gilbert Melendez and Robbie Lawler. Tate was the reigning Strikeforce women's bantamweight champion at the time, four months after submitting Marloes Coenen, and had no licensed cardboard until this set.
Two things cut against a clean 'verified'. SportsCardsPro's data field for #129 reads 'Is Rookie Card: No' even though its own listing titles use (RC), and Collectibles.com's register claims a 2010 rookie debut without naming a 2010 card. TCDB, which normally settles RC flags for this era, could not be consulted, so the flag itself is unconfirmed.
Sellers describe the Gold, Onyx and Ruby versions of #129 as separate rookies; they are parallels of the same card.

Card history
Tate is the clearest case of the Strikeforce blackout in MMA cardboard. She won the Strikeforce women's bantamweight title in July 2011 by submitting Marloes Coenen and still had no licensed card, because Topps' UFC deal did not cover Strikeforce fighters. That ended on 30 November 2011, when 2011 Topps UFC Moment of Truth became the first UFC-licensed set to carry Strikeforce athletes — Tate, Cris Cyborg, Gilbert Melendez, Robbie Lawler — which is why her first base card and her first certified autograph arrive in the same product.
She is #129 in that 220-card base set. Cardboard Connection calls it her de facto rookie card and dates her card debut to 2011, while SportsCardsPro's data field reads 'Is Rookie Card: No' even though its own listing titles use (RC) — nothing settles it, and no 2010 issue of her exists to complicate matters, since she is absent from the 100-card 2010 Leaf MMA base set. Sources also differ on the parallels: the product review gives Gold, Onyx /188, Ruby /8, Diamond 1/1 and printing plates, her player page says Gold, Black, Red and Diamond, and SportsCardsPro's variant labels add an Independence Edition. Her first autograph, Certified Signatures #CS-MT, reuses the #129 photograph and is sticker-signed, with the set's Red Ink run at /15.
From there she is a Topps regular. Knockout #32 in 2012, the year Ronda Rousey took the Strikeforce belt off her with a first-round armbar; Bloodlines #143 in 2013, whose Dual Autographed Relics #BDAR-MT is her scarcest early signed piece at /10, recorded as a pairing with Sara McMann by one register and with no co-signer named by the other; then Champions #42 in 2014 and #95 in the 200-card 2015 edition, released 28 October 2015 with a ladder through Black /188, Blue /88, Gold /25, Red /8 and Platinum 1/1. The 2015 card is the last base card of her career printed before she was champion.
Her title year got the premium treatment. She beat Holly Holm at UFC 196 in March 2016 and Topps put her at #2 in the 45-card Museum Collection base set that November, where every parallel is serial numbered — Copper /135, Gold /75, Sapphire /50, Ruby /25 and an Emerald 1/1 — so even the common version of her championship-year card is limited. The Museum Collection Framed Autographs #MCC-MT is the hardest signature of the period: Gold Frame /15, Silver Frame /5, Black Frame 1/1. The same product also carries her Archival Autographs and several signature-swatch subsets.
Panini's UFC licence treated her as a legend rather than a roster fighter. 2021 Chronicles UFC, out 6 October, signed her for Origins Autographs — one register prints it #OA-MST, the checklist renders it as a bare sequence number — plus a Flux autograph, and Immaculate Collection paired her with Amanda Nunes, the fighter who took her belt at UFC 200, on Dual Autographs #DA-AMT. Her main modern chase card is 2022 Panini Prizm UFC #120, released 25 March 2022, whose ladder runs Red /299, Blue /199, Purple /149, Orange /99, Teal /49, Mojo /25, Gold /10, Octagon /8 and Black 1/1. A card register also places her in recent Topps product — 2025 Stadium Club UFC #117 and Chrome Autographs #CAS-MTE — though no second checklist confirms those numbers.

Moment of Truth's 220-card base set was the first UFC release to include Strikeforce fighters, and Tate is #129. The same product gave her first autograph, the sticker-signed Certified Signatures #CS-MT.
Knockout #32 and Bloodlines #143 kept her on the annual checklists after the move to the UFC roster. Bloodlines also produced her scarcest early signed piece, the Bloodlines Dual Autographed Relics #BDAR-MT numbered to 10.
Topps UFC Champions carried her at #42 in 2014 and #95 in the 200-card 2015 edition, with the usual Silver/Black /188/Blue /88/Gold /25/Red /8/Platinum 1/1 ladder in 2015.

Cardboard Connection's Tate player guide calls 2011 Topps UFC Moment of Truth #129 her 'de facto rookie card' and dates her trading-card debut to 2011. The same site's product review confirms she is on the 220-card base checklist at #129 and that this was the first UFC set to include Strikeforce fighters — which is why nothing earlier exists: she was a Strikeforce champion during a period when the Topps UFC licence did not cover that promotion. No pre-2011 licensed card turned up for her. She is not in the 100-card 2010 Leaf MMA base set: SportsCardsPro's set page for 2010 Leaf MMA lists 100 items alphabetically from Akihiro Gono through Takeya Mizugaki with no Tate row.
