Josh Hokit
Rookie Card

Our rookie pick is the 2026 Leaf Metal Smack Talk Autograph #ST-JH1. No UFC-licensed Josh Hokit card has been documented, so this is FightCardboard’s opinion rather than a recognized rookie designation.

  • Number#ST-JH1, as listed on sold copies
  • Pictured“Live Reaction” variation, with a framed inset photo of President Trump referencing Hokit’s win on the UFC Freedom 250 card. Sellers also list it as the “White House” or “250th Anniversary” version.
  • AutographBlue ink, Leaf-authenticated. Sold listings describe it as a sticker autograph.
  • Print runCopies on the market are numbered /99. The serial is not visible in our photograph, so /99 is probable, not verified.
  • LicenceNot UFC-licensed: no UFC marks. Leaf signs the athlete directly.

This is an opinion, and we label it as one. Under the archive’s strict definition, a recognized rookie card needs hobby evidence behind the designation, and the usual evidence is a licensed UFC card. Hokit has none: he appears on none of the Topps UFC or Panini checklists we searched.

So we have made a call. Our pick is the 2026 Leaf Metal Smack Talk autograph: a manufacturer-authenticated, first-year autograph card from an established trading card company, issued before his first title shot. Among the Smack Talk versions, the “Live Reaction” variation pictured here is the most distinctive.

It is a different kind of item from the Spector Sports Art “Immortal Moments” pieces. Those are art collectibles, even when sellers list them with rookie wording, and we don’t treat them as cards.

If Topps issues a licensed Hokit card, that card becomes his first UFC card and the obvious candidate for a recognized rookie. This page will be updated if that happens, and the Leaf autograph would remain his earliest manufacturer autograph.

The licensed-card record

No licensed Josh Hokit trading card has been documented by FightCardboard as of 23 September 2026.

This records what the published record shows, not a claim about what can exist. Every licensed Topps UFC and Panini MMA checklist covering his career was read name by name — 20 in all, including the Topps Now programmes for 2025 and 2026 — along with the card-market indexes covering his football and college-wrestling years, and none of them lists him. A card catalogued under an unexpected name form, an issue that never reached the public checklist databases, or a regional or promotional printing could still surface, and a new Topps checklist could add him at any time. If one is documented, this entry changes.

Because no UFC-licensed card has been documented, the archive’s strict definition gives Josh Hokit no recognized rookie card yet. The pick above is our opinion of the card that comes closest. Cards sold as his rookie that are not the Leaf autograph are, so far, unlicensed art collectibles.
