Why this card matters
His first MMA-specific and first PRIDE-licensed card, issued by Dream Stage Entertainment itself in the year he won the Open Weight Grand Prix. PRIDE folded in 2007 and never licensed another card product, so this set is the entire body of official PRIDE cardboard for the fighter most associated with the promotion — which is why graded copies (SGC 10, PSA 10) are chased hard by PRIDE collectors.
