Why this card matters
Epoch took the K-1 card licence from Bandai, and this is Filipović's card in their 2001 Grand Prix set — issued in the same year he took his first MMA fight, the August 2001 TKO of Kazuyuki Fujita at the K-1 Andy Memorial. It is a checklist card rather than a solo portrait: eBay's catalogue title gives it as 'Mirko Cro Cop/Team Cro Cop Check List #108'. For collectors who reject the 1997 Bandai issue as a pre-career kickboxing card, this is the realistic 'first proper card'.

Disputed
Single-seller sourcing for the base number. Epoch also issued a 2000 K-1 Grand Prix set; whether Filipović appears in it was not established, so an earlier Epoch card may exist.
