Why this is the working pick
TCDB lists no Umar Nurmagomedov cards before 2022. It flags 2022 Panini Prizm #32, Select #81/#236/#355 and Chronicles #77 as RC; Prizm #32 released first (25 March 2022, per TCDB), and SportsCardsPro listings sell it as his RC. 2022 Panini Instant #14 (UFC 272, 5 March 2022) prints Panini's RC logo and probably reached collectors slightly earlier, but TCDB does not flag Instant cards. FightCardboard's rule for Panini Instant cards: the working pick is the earliest TCDB-flagged RC in a regular release, and the Instant card is recorded as the other candidate.
His base card in 2022 Panini Prizm UFC, which TCDB dates to March 25, 2022, the same month as his second UFC win. It's the Prizm-brand rookie and the one with the longest parallel rainbow.
Sources disagree: Panini prints its RC logo on 2022 Panini Instant #14 (UFC 272), which probably came first, but TCDB does not flag it RC and flags Prizm #32 instead.
SportsCardsPro's item details list Prizm #32, Select #81 and Chronicles #77 as 'not a rookie card', while TCDB and the printed RC logos say they are. Instant cards are sold as 'RC' and do carry the logo, but their '/1114' and '1 of 334' numbers are announced print runs, not serials.
