2026 Topps Chrome UFC #94
His rookie card, and his first card in a UFC-licensed product, arriving thirteen months after his UFC debut and twenty-two years into his professional career. Topps skipped him in every 2025 UFC release, so the Chrome refractor ladder is where a Pitbull collection effectively starts: the serial-numbered tiers from Gold /50 down to the SuperFractor 1/1 are the only scarce base-card versions he has.
The honest friction is not which 2026 card is the rookie but whether a 38-year-old with four Bellator title reigns should have a 2026 rookie card at all. Topps' RC logo follows the first UFC-licensed appearance, so it lands on #94; a collector who dates rookies by first card of any kind would name the 2025 Contenders PFL Crown Jewels #5 instead.
Patricio is routinely confused with his older brother Patricky 'Pitbull' Freire, who has his own cards — including 2025 Panini Combat Anthology MMA Stars Signatures #26, a Patricky card that listings sometimes shorten to 'Pitbull'. Any card captioned only 'Pitbull' needs the first name checked. Panini spells him 'Patrício Pitbull' while Topps spells him 'Patricio Freire', so the same fighter files under two names.

Card history
For fifteen years the most decorated champion in Bellator history had no trading card at all. He debuted at Bellator 15 in April 2010 and held the featherweight title three times and the lightweight title once, but the promotion ran no card programme through any of it, and no licensed issue from those years can be confirmed. The naming is its own trap: Panini files him as 'Patrício Pitbull' and Topps as 'Patricio Freire', while his older brother Patricky 'Pitbull' Freire has cards of his own, so a listing that says only 'Pitbull' identifies nothing.
His first card came on his way out of the promotion that made him. Panini's 2025 Contenders PFL, released July 18, 2025, covered the Bellator names PFL had absorbed, and he appears exactly once, as Crown Jewels #5 — the product's title-holder insert. He is not in the 100-card Season Ticket base set, having signed with the UFC in February 2025, five months before the release. That single insert is the whole of his non-UFC cardboard, and it carries no rookie designation.

2026 Topps Midnight UFC, two weeks later on May 22, left him out of its 100-card base set but used him three times: Lunar Apex #LA-19, whose ladder runs Moon Beam, Dusk /75, Moonrise /25, Midnight /12, Daybreak /5 and Black Light 1/1; Zero Hour #ZH-14; and Rookie Relic Autographs #RRA-PP, his first card to pair a signature with a swatch, with a Daybreak /5 confirmed. 2026 Topps Stadium Club UFC then gave him a second RC-flagged base card at #171 on August 14, 2026 — two rookie logos inside four months, which is what happens when a checklist picks a fighter up mid-career. Seven cards in total, all but one of them from a single year.

2026 Topps Stadium Club UFC (August 14, 2026) carries him at #171, again RC-flagged. Two RC-logo base cards inside four months is the shape of a fighter Topps picked up mid-career rather than a prospect.

Checklist Insider's 2026 Topps Chrome UFC checklist lists him verbatim as '94 Patricio Freire RC', and SportsCardsPro's card page for 2026 Topps Chrome UFC #94 answers 'Is Rookie Card: Yes'. Chrome released May 8, 2026, ahead of the other 2026 product that RC-flags him (Stadium Club UFC #171, August 14, 2026). No Topps UFC product before it contains him: 2025 Topps Chrome UFC (June 27, 2025), 2025 Topps Midnight UFC (August 8, 2025), 2025 Topps Knockout UFC (October 24, 2025) and 2025 Topps Stadium Club UFC (January 23, 2026) all returned no Freire or Pitbull line. His only earlier card, 2025 Panini Contenders PFL Crown Jewels #5, is an insert with no RC designation — SportsCardsPro's entry for it states it is not a rookie card.
