Jean Silva

Silva is the clean case of a fighter whose cards start a year and a half after his UFC debut: Topps left him out of every 2024 product, so nothing exists before 2025 Topps Chrome UFC #56, released June 27, 2025 and named his true rookie by MMA Rookies. Everything else — Chrome Sapphire, Midnight, Knockout, Finest, Stadium Club and the all-serial-numbered Royalty — landed inside the following eight months, which makes his rookie year unusually compressed and unusually easy to complete. The autographs are where the difficulty is: Topps signed him for Midnight and Royalty, not for Chrome, so there is no cheap entry-level auto of him.

Rookie card

2025 Topps Chrome UFC #56

Silva's first licensed card of any kind. Topps skipped him entirely in 2024 despite three wins that year, so nothing exists before this June 27, 2025 release. It is the card MMA Rookies designates his true rookie, and it sits at the head of a deep 2025 refractor rainbow that runs from unnumbered Refractor down to Red /5 and a SuperFractor 1/1.

Commonly misidentified

Two things get mixed up with this fighter. First, the name: Sherdog's fight finder lists at least eight pro fighters called Jean Silva, and he has no relation to Anderson Silva, Wanderlei Silva or Natália Silva — the UFC featherweight is 'Lord', of Kingdom Thai / The Fighting Nerds. Second, the rookie flag: SportsCardsPro's details tables say 'Is Rookie Card: No' for his 2025 Chrome #56, Midnight #18 and Finest #35 even though both checklist sources print RC on those lines, and its Knockout #62 page notes that sellers call that card a rookie while the checklist does not.

03

Card history

Silva debuted in the UFC on January 13, 2024 and finished Westin Wilson, Charles Jourdain and Drew Dober inside that year, and Topps carded none of it: the 2024 Chrome, Knockout, Finest and Gold Label UFC checklists contain no Jean Silva at all. Anyone hunting a 2024 rookie of him is hunting something that was never printed, and any pre-2024 'Jean Silva' card belongs to somebody else — Sherdog's fight finder lists at least eight pro fighters by that name, and the UFC featherweight is the one nicknamed 'Lord'.

His first card is 2025 Topps Chrome UFC #56, released June 27, 2025 after the ninja-choke win over Bryce Mitchell at UFC 314. Checklist Insider prints the line with an RC tag and MMA Rookies calls it his True Rookie Card, though SportsCardsPro's details table says it is not one — a flag that reads the same way across the whole 2025 rookie class. The refractor rainbow behind it is deep: Speckle /250 through Blue Wave /75 and Gold /50 down to the hobby OctaFractor /8, Red /5 and a SuperFractor 1/1. The Chrome Sapphire Edition version of the same number followed on July 25 with a short, hard ladder of its own, Green /75 down to Padparadscha 1/1 — a premium companion to the rookie rather than a second one.

The rest of the rookie year is unusually compressed: Topps Midnight UFC, August 8, 2025, gave him base #18 RC out of only 100 cards, with parallels named for the hours of the night from Morning /125 to Black Light 1/1, plus a Dream Chasers insert and a Constellations card shared with Caio Borralho. Knockout, October 24, put him at #62 in a set where every base parallel is serial-numbered — Bronze /199 and Gold /188 down to Platinum 1/1, with no unnumbered colour to fall back on — alongside Inception and Ferocity inserts. Finest, November 7, tiered its 300-card base and gave him all three: Common #35, Uncommon #200 and Rare #300, each RC-tagged, with two case-hit inserts on top. Knockout #62 is the one card whose rookie status is genuinely split, tagged RC by one listing and not by the printed checklist.

The autographs are where the difficulty sits, because Topps did not sign him for Chrome or Chrome Sapphire. The earliest signature found of him is instead the Midnight Rookie Relic Autograph RRA-JS, from a 35-card signed-relic subset in that August release. Two 2025-branded products then shipped after the new year and closed the cycle: Stadium Club UFC on January 23, 2026, the most variation-heavy of his rookie cards with base #46 RC, a Chrome C-46, image and rookie-design variations both numbered #298 and two autographs; and Royalty UFC on February 6, 2026, where he has no base card at all, only numbered signatures and relics — a Rookie Auto RA-JS /99, a Rookie Jumbo Relic /99, its own RRA-JS Rookie Relic Autograph /99 with a Blue /25, a The Time Is Now auto /25 and dual and triple autographs with Borralho and Carlos Prates. The two RRA-JS cards are easy to conflate; only the product branding separates them.

2026 Topps Chrome UFC, May 8, 2026, marks the end of the rookie branding: base #163 with no RC logo, issued after the Arnold Allen win took him into the featherweight top five. The product's real interest for Silva collectors is the pair of autographs beside it, Future Stars Autographs FSA-JS and Vanquisher Ink VI-JS, which are his first signed Chrome cards of any kind. There is still no cheap entry-level autograph of him anywhere in the run.

Card eras

2024
Three UFC wins, no cards

Silva debuted on January 13, 2024 and finished Westin Wilson, Charles Jourdain and Drew Dober inside the year, but Topps' 2024 UFC checklists — Chrome, Knockout, Finest and Gold Label — contain no Jean Silva. Collectors looking for a 2024 rookie of him are looking for something that was never printed.

2025
Chrome rookie

2025 Topps Chrome UFC #56, released June 27, 2025, is his first licensed card and the recognised RC, arriving after the Bryce Mitchell ninja-choke win at UFC 314. The Sapphire Edition version of the same number followed on July 25.

2025
Midnight and his first signature

Topps Midnight UFC (August 8, 2025) gave him base #18 RC, a Dream Chasers insert, a Constellations card shared with Caio Borralho, and — on the Checklist Insider checklist — the Rookie Relic Autograph RRA-JS, the earliest Silva autograph found.

2025
Knockout and Finest

Knockout (October 24, 2025) put him at #62 with an all-serial-numbered parallel run plus Inception and Ferocity inserts; Finest (November 7, 2025) gave him three RC base cards across the Common, Uncommon and Rare tiers at #35, #200 and #300.

2026
Late-dated 2025 product and the post-rookie era

Two 2025-branded products shipped after the new year: Stadium Club UFC on January 23, 2026 (#46 RC, Chrome C-46, two #298 variations, two autographs) and Royalty UFC on February 6, 2026, where he has no base card and only numbered autographs and relics. 2026 Topps Chrome UFC then gave him base #163 with no RC logo, plus the FSA-JS and VI-JS autographs.

Jean Silva's rookie card: 2025 Topps Chrome UFC #56 — Jean Silva.

MMA Rookies names 2025 Topps Chrome UFC #56 his 'True Rookie Card', and Checklist Insider prints the line with an RC tag. It is also the earliest of his RC-designated cards by release date: Chrome shipped June 27, 2025, ahead of Chrome Sapphire (July 25), Midnight (August 8), Knockout (October 24), Finest (November 7), Stadium Club (January 23, 2026) and Royalty (February 6, 2026). There is nothing earlier to weigh against it — Checklist Insider's 2024 Topps Chrome, Knockout, Finest and Gold Label UFC checklists contain no Jean Silva, so the 2025 Chrome card is both his rookie and his first card of any kind.

The two RRA-JS cards are easy to conflate; only the product branding separates them.
