Panini's 'ROOKIE CARD' shield is printed at the top left, but this is a print-to-order Instant card from Della Maddalena's UFC-debut year rather than a rookie card from a regular release: TCDB does not RC-flag Instant cards and SportsCardsPro marks it 'not a rookie'. Under FightCardboard's Panini Instant rule the rookie pick is the earliest TCDB-flagged RC in a regular release — 2023 Panini Prizm UFC #187. The Instant is his earliest card, and the archive records it as the other candidate in his rookie dispute.
