Panini's 'ROOKIE CARD' shield is printed on the front (visible on the SportsCardsPro scan), but this is a print-to-order Instant card from Aspinall's rookie year rather than a rookie card from a regular release, and TCDB lists it without an RC flag. Under FightCardboard's Panini Instant rule the rookie pick is the earliest TCDB-flagged RC in a regular release — 2022 Panini Prizm UFC #134 (25 March 2022). The Instant is his earliest card, and the archive records it as the other candidate in his rookie dispute.

01

Why this card matters

His first trading card: a print-to-order Panini Instant card for his first-round TKO of Sergey Spivak, dated 'Saturday - 9/4/21' on the front. It predates every 2022 Panini RC, and although it carries a printed RC logo, TCDB does not flag it, so it is the contested card in any Aspinall rookie discussion.

Identification

Missing a back scan. Contribute one.

  • Card #35 in 2021 Panini Instant UFC
  • Front: 'UFC FIGHT NIGHT', 'SATURDAY - 9/4/21', caption 'ASPINALL TKO's SPIVAC IN THE FIRST ROUND' (sic)
