Why this card matters

Holm's first certified autograph, and it did not exist until she was more than two years past the Rousey knockout, because the 2017-branded Museum Collection did not ship until 28 February 2018. MMA Rookies records it as both her first autograph and her first on-card autograph; Cardboard Connection's 26-card Framed Autographs checklist confirms FA-HH, describes it as an on-card case hit, and gives Gold Frame /15, Silver Frame /5 and Black Frame 1/1. There is no unnumbered version, so the entire Holm framed-autograph population is 21 cards.

Identification

Own this card? Contribute a scan.

  • Card code FA-HH. The 2017 Museum Collection also has a separate Museum Autographs subset using MA- codes; this is not that subset.
  • Framed card stock with the signature on-card, per Cardboard Connection.
  • Her base card in the same product is #49 of 50.
  • The 2018 Topps Chrome UFC Athlete Autograph reuses the code FA-HH — check the product year and the card stock before calling one 'the first'.

Disputed

Sources disagree

Settled. Two cards legitimately carry the code FA-HH: this one, from the 2017-branded Museum Collection released 28 February 2018, and the 2018 Topps Chrome UFC Athlete Autograph released 19 September 2018. MMA Rookies names the Museum card her first autograph and her first on-card autograph, and the release dates agree, so it holds the first-autograph milestone. Collectibles.com's register simply does not carry the 2017 Museum product, which is a gap in its coverage rather than a counter-claim.

Probable

2017 Topps UFC Museum Collection Framed Autographs #FA-HH — Holly Holm.

Uncertain

Single source for the FA-HH code and the frame print runs. Collectibles.com's Holm register shows 2018 as the earliest autograph year it holds (2018 Topps UFC Chrome Autographs Red #FA-HH), which does not contradict the February 2018 release date of the 2017-dated Museum product but does mean the two sources disagree about which card to call her first autograph.
