Why this card matters

Her first card, six months after her UFC debut and four and a half years into her pro career — there is nothing from the Invicta run to compete with it. Released 10 May 2017 in a 100-card base set, it beats the better-known Chrome #85 to market by four months, which is why date-order collectors call this the rookie even though the Chrome is what trades.

Which of her two 2017 base cards to call the rookie. MMA Rookies designates this one and files Chrome #85 under 'Other Rookies', and release order agrees: Knockout shipped 10 May 2017, Chrome on 20 September. The market chases #85 for its refractor ladder. SportsCardsPro's structured rookie field reads 'No' for both, as it does for Topps UFC base cards generally, and no independent confirmation of a printed RC logo on either has been found.
