Why this card matters
The only certified Sakuraba autograph documented anywhere, from an unlicensed Leaf wrestling product rather than an MMA one. It matters out of proportion to the set because he signs so little for card companies: SportsCardsPro's entire database returns just two Sakuraba products, and both are this signature and its variants. The same product also carries a base autograph of him at #KS1; the archive holds the alternate-art number. It landed the same year the UFC put him in the Pioneer wing of its Hall of Fame — an induction that produced no Topps or Panini card.

WrestlingTradingCards.com's checklist and SportsCardsPro both carry the card, and both also carry the companion base autograph #KS1, so listings that quote one number are easily mistaken for the other. Whether the signature is on-card or on a sticker is not stated by any published source. Sakuraba's Leaf entries are dated to the 2016 portion of a product issued in 2017, which is why the year and the '2014' subset name in its title do not agree.
