Why this card matters
The first Nick Diaz base card in any set, arriving in March 2012 after his UFC return at UFC 137. Nothing from his PRIDE, EliteXC or Strikeforce years produced one, so a fighter who debuted in the UFC in 2003 waited nine years for a card with his own name on the front. Its Gold /188, Silver /125, Green /88 and Red /8 ladder is the deepest numbered run of any Diaz base card that year.
