Why this card matters
Kimbo leads off the 2010 Greats of the Game insert at GTG-1 — a striking piece of hobby history given he had won exactly one UFC fight at the time and had never held a title. It is the clearest evidence of how Topps valued his drawing power in 2010, and it is the only insert card he has from his fighting career.

- Distinct from the 2009 Topps UFC Round 2 Greats of the Game insert (GTG-1 through GTG-15), whose checklist is Liddell, Wanderlei Silva, St-Pierre and other established names and does not include Kimbo
- Black, Ruby and Diamond parallels of Greats of the Game existed in Round 2; parallel structure for the 2010 insert was not confirmed
