Why this card matters
The first Gina Carano card, issued while she was still EliteXC's biggest draw and a year before the Cyborg fight. Ring Kings was a 30-card combat-sports insert inside a celebrity product, so she shares the checklist with Couture, St-Pierre, Bas Rutten and Bruce Buffer rather than with a fighter set. It is also the only Carano issue that predates the Topps UFC era entirely.
Identification

- Ring Kings insert, not part of the Americana II base set — Americana II itself has no MMA content beyond this insert.
- No UFC, EliteXC or Strikeforce marks anywhere on the card.
- Numbering is the thing to check: Allender's checklist runs Ring Kings 1–30 with Carano at 10; Cardboard Connection and eBay sellers render the same card as #GC / RK-GC.
- A Directors Cut version of the same card is serial-numbered to 100.
Disputed
The card number is rendered two ways: Allender says 10 within a 1–30 Ring Kings run, Cardboard Connection says #GC and eBay sellers write RK-GC. The /500 serial number is carried over from the archive's existing Americana II Ring Kings records (an eBay-confirmed /500 Rashad Evans copy) and was not independently confirmed for the Carano card, so it is recorded as probable rather than verified.
