Why this is the working pick

MMA Rookies names 2015 Topps UFC Knockout #88 her True Rookie Card and lists 2015 Topps UFC Champions #113 and 2015 Topps UFC Chronicles #259 as her other rookie cards. Release dates back that order up: Cardboard Connection dates Topps UFC Knockout to April 22, 2015, Topps UFC Champions to October 28, 2015, and Topps UFC Chronicles to February 3, 2016 despite the 2015 label. Nothing earlier exists — the 2014 Topps UFC Knockout checklist (May 16, 2014) has no Namajunas entry, and she has no Invicta-era or non-MMA card that this research could find.

Her first card of any kind, from a product released April 22, 2015 — four months after she lost the inaugural strawweight title fight to Carla Esparza at the TUF 20 Finale. It is a base card in a 100-card set, and the paralleled versions (Gold /99, Red /8, Mat 1/1) are the only serial-numbered versions of her rookie that exist.

The dispute

There is no printed RC logo in play here — Topps UFC products of this period were not verified this research to carry one — so 'rookie card' for Namajunas is a first-appearance judgement rather than a manufacturer designation. SportsCardsPro's card pages for #88, #113 and #259 all say 'Is Rookie Card: No', which conflicts with MMA Rookies' RC designations; that field looks like a default on their UFC pages rather than a considered call, but it is a live disagreement between two sources.
