Why this is the earliest card

Ditcheva has no rookie card in the technical sense. Panini's PFL-licensed products apply no RC designation to anyone — Checklist Insider's 2025 and 2026 Contenders PFL checklists carry no RC column, and SportsCardsPro's card page for #37 explicitly reads 'Rookie Card: No'. Her earliest licensed card of any kind is 2025 Panini Contenders PFL Season Ticket #37, from a product released July 18, 2025; Checklist Insider, Checklist Center and SportsCardsPro all place her at #37. Nothing earlier exists: she has no Topps card, no UFC-licensed card, and no card from her Muay Thai or IFMA career. So this entry is 'earliest', not 'rookie'.

The first Dakota Ditcheva card in existence, arriving almost eight months after she won the 2024 PFL flyweight tournament and became the first British woman to hold a major MMA world title. Because PFL had no card partner before 2025, this single card stands in for a 16-0 career, an IFMA junior world title and two tournament championships. Its parallel ladder is the deepest thing she has from 2025.

The dispute

Not a disagreement between sources so much as a gap in the hobby: because no PFL product designates rookie cards, sellers are free to call any of her 2025 issues a rookie. Expect to see #37, Combat Anthology #90 and the Classics Signatures #20 auto all described that way. None of them carries an RC logo.

Her surname is regularly misspelled 'Ditchева'/'Ditchiva' in listings, and Checklist Insider's 2025 Contenders page renders her 2004 Throwback as #3 (the Championship Contenders number) rather than #7.
