Why this card matters

Leaf's unlicensed multi-promotion product is where Cyborg's hard-signed autographs come from, and its print run was cut to 150 cases — Cardboard Connection notes that is an 80% reduction on Leaf's previous MMA release. Every card in the product is hard-signed, so these are on-card signatures at a time when Topps was still putting her on stickers or short autograph checklists. She appears in the Base Autographs (BA-CS-1) and Champions (CH-CS-1) subsets.

Identification

  • Card code BA-CS-1 for Base Autographs; the Champions version is CH-CS-1
  • Listed by sellers as 'Cris Cyborg Santos' or 'Cyborg Santos'
  • No UFC or Strikeforce logos — unlicensed product with no promotional marks
  • Eight cards per box, all autographs

03

Disputed

Sources disagree

The card is dated 2011 but Cardboard Connection gives the release date as 16 March 2012, which is why sellers calling it her rookie are wrong on chronology. Card codes come from eBay listing titles only — some listings render them BA-CS1 / CH-CS1 without the second hyphen. The Silver /50 print run comes from a single graded eBay listing.
