Why this card matters
His first certified autograph. Allender's Round 4 checklist marks the card 'First Issue', and Topps' own Ripped article picks it out as one of Sonnen's top cards, which is about as close to an official confirmation as this era gets. It arrives in September 2010, a full year after his first card and five years after his UFC debut — a reminder of how late the licensed hobby got to him. An Onyx parallel autograph exists.

Allender's 'First Issue' marking and the absence of any Sonnen autograph in the 2009 Round 2 checklists both support it, but Main Event remains unchecked.
