Why this card matters
The earliest licensed card of Gracie found : a Pride FC issue showing his Tokyo Dome meeting with Hidehiko Yoshida, three years before Topps put UFC cards on shelves. It matters because it is the only piece of cardboard tying Gracie to the Japanese half of his career, and because it predates everything Topps did.
